Introduction to the Calendar View

The Calendar View consists of several features, which allow users to

  • view information
  • navigate through information
  • limit the information which is shown
  • search for information
  • access records directly

The example shown below was configured to show Actions, Audit Findings and Control Verifications, and to highlight records in either Red, Yellow or Green.

Components which are included in the Calendar

Colors which have been used in the Calendar.

Clicking on this icon will display the legend which is used to explain what type of records each color represents for each component.

A Date will be highlighted in one of the configured colors when a record that is visible in the list falls on this date.

If several records occur on the same date, the system will use the color of the highest-ranking record. The ranking, in descending order, is: Red Menu path separator Yellow Menu path separator Green Menu path separator Grey

Shows the currently visible Date Range.

To reset the Date Range to include the complete range of the displayed months in the Calendar View.

Search box. It will search within the records for the Date Range (specified above).

To search for Records in the List View.

By clicking on the Column Header a user can sort one Column at a time.

The footer indicates the number of records which are currently included in the List View. If the List View includes records from more than one Component, the system will also list a break down of records shown from each Component.

Also, if the number of records reached the maximum limit, the system will display a corresponding message.
