Enabling Learn Integration

Once the Learn module is activated, the next step is to update Global Settings with the Learn Instance details and the Training & Competency Management module mapping. This ensures that the system correctly updates the relevant Training Instance of the Person upon completion of their training course in the Learn platform.

NOTE:
Contact Customer Support to request a new Learn Instance and you will be provided with a Base URL, Administrator Account login detail and Learn Course Endpoint credentials.

Evotix 360 Platform Settings

In Evotix 360, Navigate to Admin Global Settings Learn

Setting	Description
Learn Base URL	The Base URL of the Learn Instance https://xxxyyy.learn.evotix-dev.com/
API Key for User Endpoint	API Key to be shared between Learn and Evotix 360 to retrieve courses and course status. Generate the key in Evotix 360 by navigating to Designer Security API Keys
Learn Course Endpoint UserName and Password	Username and password for access the Learn Course Endpoint - will be provided by Support Team
API Key for Authentication	API key to authenticate Evotix 360 users for basic authentication or manual login from Evotix 360 to Learn. Generate the key in Evotix 360 by navigating to Designer Security API Keys
NOTE: For clients starting from Standard Config 2025.1 database, the changes to Training & Competency module required for the Learn Integration will already be in place. You will need to select the relevant components and relationships in Config Mapping. For clients on pre-2025.1 Standard Config database, there will be configuration changes required to the Training & Competency module. Training Instance Status	Lookup field with values In Progress Completed Once the course is completed in Learn platform, the system will update the Instance Status to "Completed" in Evotix 360
Training Instance Date Completed	Date field Once the course is completed in Learn platform, the system will update the Date Completed field in Evotix 360
Training Instance Time Completed	Time field Once the course is completed in Learn platform, the system will update the Time Completed field in Evotix 360

Save the above settings. Publish and Restart Tomcat service.
