Edit a Component

The Definition tab is where you can edit the component's properties.

To edit the properties of a component

Open Component Management
Type data into the fields on the Definition tab. See table below for details of each field
Click Save

Field Property	Input Details
Name	Component Name
Description	Description of the Component.
Internal ID	System generated identifier.
Default Component Lookup View	To select records from a Component and link them to records of other Components (e.g. Persons as "Action assigned by"), you need to define which Component Lookup (List View or Tree View) to use. Select or create a view to be used as the Default Component lookup. NOTE: The Default Component Lookup View must not contain fields from a related component since these will be displayed as "####" only. For example on the Person Component: - OK: Supervisor - NOT OK: Supervisor.First Name
