Manual Initiation

To manually initiate an Import

1. From the menu, select Admin Imports Import Trigger.
2. In the Import to run field, select the import you wish to run.
3. Select the Import File Location. The options are:
   • On Server
   • Select File Now (File is on local machine or accessible network drive)
4. When selection is On Server
   • Click Run.
   • The import runs immediately, importing all files which are located in the Import Directory.
     If there are several files, the import order will be from oldest newest.
     
5. When selection is Select File Now
   • Select the Import File to be imported.
   • Select the Run Type:
     • Run Now:
       import will run in foreground and block the interface until finished.
     • Run in background:
       import will run in the background, and the user can continue to use the system.
       Once the import has finished, an email notification with the logs and a summary will be sent to the user who initiated the import.
   • Click Run
6. After the import has finished, the import files and the log files will be retained in the Directory Location as defined in the Import configuration.
