Directory Location

The location where the import files are to be stored and the generated logs will be placed.

Specify the root folder location under which the following three folders will be created:

• importfiles
• processedimports
• logs

NOTE 1: These folder names must be all in lower case. They can either be created manually, or will be created by the import the first time it runs.

NOTE 2: all files in the directory 'importfiles' will be imported, in order of the oldest newest file.

First row is a header row

Tick this box when the first row of the import file contains headers.

If the first row of your import file contains the name of the columns, for example "First Name", "Last Name" etc., then you must select this box. Otherwise, the system will treat these rows as records which need to be imported.

Allow Double Byte Characters

A checkbox used to specify whether the file will include Unicode character sets, such as Chinese.

The CSV import file encoding must be set to Unicode.
