Navigate to Designer Component Management, search and edit the component for which recurrence needs to be enabled.
Navigate to Recurrence tab and enable the option 'Use this Component to Create Recurrences'
Configure the required fields:
Date Created - Select the date field that will store the record’s creation date when generated from the recurrence event.
Due Date – Select the date field that determines when the record appears in the calendar.
Only Administrators with Designer access can enable recurrence for components. Once enabled, users with the appropriate Recurrence policy roles can create and manage recurrence templates for that component.
