Recurrences
Evotix 360's Recurrence capability empowers administrators and power users to automate record creation through a simple yet highly configurable scheduling experience. This feature allows users to define when and how often records are created, how far in advance they need to be generated, and which fields are automatically populated – all while fully respecting form configuration rules such as defaults, validations and email actions.
Records created by the scheduler behave exactly like manually created records, triggering the same emails and form-based actions. Upcoming scheduled records are clearly shown in the calendar with distinct styling, giving users better visibility and helping them plan their weekly and monthly activities.
This feature can be enabled in any module and is particularly beneficial in high-frequency, schedule-driven modules such as Actions, Inspections and Audits
The following 2 policy roles can be assigned to users to manage Recurrence Templates:
- Policy Role - Recurrence Template - Basic:
Users inheriting this role can create and manage their own recurrence templates.
- Policy Role - Recurrence Template - Admin:
Users inheriting this role can create and manage all recurrence templates across the application. It is recommended to assign this role only for System Administrators.
Note:
Users can view the records generated from the recurrence templates based on their existing security permissions.
For example, a user who does not have Recurrence policy roles but does have permission to view and edit Inspection records will still be able to complete or close Inspection records that were generated from an Inspection recurrence template.
