Monitor the System

All monitoring items (found under Admin Menu path separator Monitoring) are runtime statistics that show how the system is behaving. Statistics menu items deal with task-based statistics; Resources menu items deal with resource-based statistics.

Very few of the Monitoring areas of the system can be modified - typically, they are used as reporting tools for troubleshooting by SAI360 Help Desk.

Menu option

Does this...

Active Sessions

Reports the currently active sessions within the system, including logged-in users and internal system sessions.

Caches

Reports information on internal cache sizes and hit ratios.

You can make a cache active (default) or inactive, and purge the cache.

Statistics

Reports counts, and maximum and minimum times of various tasks within the system such as performing an SQL Query, or parsing an XML process definition.

You can turn specific statistics monitoring on or off, reset statistics, purge the task history, and set the maximum size of the task history.

Task History

Reports specific timings for the last n tasks, where n is a number. This number can be configured under Statistics. To do so, set the desired value in the field 'Maximum size of Task History'
