Using Reports which were created with the Report Designer (Complex Reports)
These type of reports are typically used to represent information which
- is of rather complex nature, for example co-relating information from various processes.
- includes textual information, for example descriptions and summaries.
- require a mix of tables and charts.
- need a layout format which must meet either company, or regulatory standards.
As the name suggests, the interaction with "static" reports is limited. Depending on the configuration of the report, the options may be:
- Application of report parameters from within the report.
- Selection of a range of output options (e.g. as HTML or PDF).
- No interaction at all.
