Roam Logs Setup
The Roam Logs Setup allows Administrators to select users for automatic collection of Roam logs for the purpose of troubleshooting issues.
When setting up users, Administrators must set the collection period and can only choose active users.
In the web application, select Admin Tools Roam Log Setup
- Click New
- Select the User from the list of 'User Names'
- Set the Start Date and End Date during which the logs will be collected
- Logs are automatically uploaded to the server for the specified users every 24 hours from the next time that Roam is used.
- Logs will also be automatically uploaded immediately if the user encounters an 'Exception'.
- Following upload, the logs are deleted from the mobile device to maintain privacy and storage efficiency.
- 'Automatic' logs will only be collected for the users selected by Administrators and only during the date range specified.
Uploaded logs can be viewed and deleted via Roam Logs.
