This section applies for Advanced Filters and Views.

The Filter Designer toolbar performs the following functions to any selected filter displayed in the Filter Designer:

Clearing the Filter Designer window, ready for a new filter to be designed.

Select NEW

Applying the filter without saving it. The filter remains available for you until the Workspace is closed, or your session has timed out.

Once you have applied the Filter Ad Hoc, you will still be able to modify it.

Select Apply Ad Hoc

Closing the Filter Designer window.

If there are any unsaved changes, the system will prompt you if changes should be discarded.

Select Close

Saving the Filter, and applying it to the view.

By saving the Filter, it will be available for future use, and modifications.

Select Save and Apply

Deleting the current Filter

Select Delete

Duplicating the current Filter, so that I can build a similar Filter without affecting the current Filter.

Select Duplicate

Selecting a Filter which already have been defined (by yourself or others) for the current Business Process, so that I can apply it to the current View.
