Location Aware

Making a component Location Aware requires nominating fields that contain the latitude and longitude data for each record, and a text field to describe the record/location.

Once a component is Location Aware, the system can automatically and easily make use of location-driven functions such as "Location Aware Safety" on Roam, and Map Charts in List View Visualizations.

To enable a Component for the Location Aware feature, the Component must have:

• 2 Decimal fields with 8 decimal places to represent Latitude and Longitude.
• Optional: a text field to represent the Location details
• In Component Management, on the tab "Location Aware", map these fields to their corresponding attributes.

For "Location Aware Safety" on Roam, in addition to the above you must:

• Define the Location Aware Radius in Global Settings.
• configure Roam List Views to support Location Aware.
