Form Designer

The Form Designer is used to configure forms for the Web Application. In here, a designer can define:

  • The name and the properties for a form.
  • The layout of each page, which will consist of rows and cells.
  • Which fields need to be included on a page.
  • Number, name and properties for each page on a form.

How can I access the Form Designer?

The Form Designer, as well as the Action-, Validations- and Default Value Builder can all be accessed via the Designer Panel - provided you have access to it.

  • From the Menu select: Designer Menu path separator Forms and Views Menu path separator Forms and List Views.
  • This will open the Designer Panel

Who has access to the Form Designer?

The access to the Form Designer is controlled via the Role Policy Role - Configuration Elements.

By default, the user "System Admin" has this role already assigned.

If you intend to give other users access to this part of the Application, you will need to add the above-mentioned policy role to this user.
