Maintaining Referential Data
To maintain the integrity of already existing Emissions Results records, the Emissions Management Module has comprehensive mechanisms put in place to
- Protect these existing records from unintended changes and ensure saved results will never be inconsistent with relevant referential data.
- Ensure Emissions Results records which need to be recalculated after a change are being flagged as "invalid" and will be re-listed as incomplete records.
When a Time Period is closed, if changes to Emission Sources, Material Inventory, Calculations or Constants that affect existing Emission Data are attempted, the system will prevent you from making the change with an error message on save.

You can re-open the closed Time Period record to be able to make these changes.
