Metrics (Emission Types)

When Emissions are calculated, it is necessary to stipulate the type of Emission which is being calculated - e.g. CO2 or N20. These emission types are defined as "Metrics".

To enter in Metrics, navigate to ...Emissions Management Menu path separator Administration Menu path separator Metrics.

Definitions for Metrics

Field

Explanation

Name

Define the name of Metric according to calculation/reporting requirements, for example:

  • CO2-e (Carbon dioxide equivalent)
  • CH4 (Methane)
  • CO2 (Carbon dioxide)
  • N2O (Nitrous oxide)

Unit of Measure

Unit of Measure (UoM) in which the Metric will be reported in.

All formulas outputting a figure for a given Metric should ensure that the figure aligns with this UoM.
